We first got a heads-up a few months ago that a new band was working on their debut release. And what was intriguing was these guys were not taking the usual path and just releasing a debut single but instead would be delivering a four-track EP! The EP has arrived in the mail at the VOLCANO studio and HOLY SHIT it’s grune and it’s FUCKING INSANE! The band is called FORGOOD @forgood.idn, the EP is “Exordium” and from today VOLCANO is spinning all 4 tracks on our highest rotations in Bali! Our sister radio network @radiokomodo is also banging the EP on the air in Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai and Dubai.
NOIZEKILLA @noizekilla a musical evolution of Bali’s Bhismo 'KunoKini', has dropped over his new single “Meditation Ai & Ai” sung in English, and mixed with bites of Indonesian and Javanese. It’s about the spiritual journey and meditation of the artist; in which sincerity is key and patience is the essence of the moment that we are longing for. NoizeKilla is an interesting guy, VOLCANO unexpectedly ran into him a few months ago at a remote sekolah dasar in East Nusa Tenggara where he was teaching kids to breathe deeply, relax the mind and sing! “Meditation Ai & Ai” is as much a visual journey as an audio one - hear the track on VOLCANO and check out the amazing video on YouTube.
On VOLCANO we have been spinning SOMETHINK’s @somethinkmusic lovely single “Grow” since January last year. Yeh well, now it’s rebirthed with a just-released cool music video. We love the song and video sooo much! Let’s spin it as a fresh pick again, listen up “Grow” is propagating all over VOLCANO anew!
