They have been around since 2019 but VOLCANO has never spun any sounds from Bandung’s ERSTWHILE COMPANY @ewcmusic before. Well, that’s now fixed because Martha (Vocals), Anandeva (Vocals, Guitar), Yoga (Bass) and Yusa (Drums) have dropped over to us their EP “Fantasia”. Woo - it’s a solid new release from the gang of four that have been hanging out together since junior high school. A neat fusion of blues, rock and pop and all four tracks allow you to dig into different facets of their takes on freedom and exploration. Listen up - VOLCANO is featuring “Dream”, caz we sooo love its twangy, fuzzy guitars and retro keyboards!
SWEETROCK! @sweetrock.id have been slaying the crowds playing live to launch their new album. They dropped a message to the VOLCANO studio and so we dived into all 8 tracks on “12:30 Malam” It’s a total monster - killer alt-pop/rock! We are going to be spinning heaps off the album. On their amazing debut single, you can hear that pizza-powered influence between the notes! It’s going to be the first single from their upcoming EP soon to hit digital platforms. The lyric video for the track is out as a teaser on YouTube to get us in the mood as we wait for the full release - what else would you expect - we are spinning “Burn” to the max!
